This in my third 'Kourageous Kids' quilt, so named for the children that do the artwork for a fundraiser for Children's Hospital every year (Balding for Dollars). The children have all been stricken with cancer and not all survive. Our guild members volunteer to take a month from the calendar and replicate the child's artwork in a quilt that is then presented to the child or their family at the end of the year. It's a very rewarding experience and I hope to continue on in the years ahead. It was started by one of our Langley guild members -Nuala Adderley.
