"Turtle Time"

I made this wallhanging from a Kathy McNeil pattern that I bought on her website. It was a gift made for Max's 6th birthday on Sept. 4,2011. I fused the pieces onto the background and then machine quilted it. Max LOVES turtles!

About Me

Hi, my name is Penny, and I love to quilt! I make quilts to celebrate family milestones, and have been doing so for over 30 years. I live in White Rock, BC and have a beautiful loving family. I'm a member of the Langley Quilters Guild and I'm also the editor of the Guild monthly newsletter.

I started this blog so that I could have a record of the quilts I have made over the years. I still have a few more to include so hopefully will get to that soon (older ones). I started out with photos in an album, but have since stopped doing it that way so having this blog gives me a new and better way of documenting them (hopefully!) and also give me a new learning experience also.

Quilting is my passion and I'm so thankful for all that it has brought me.
